Every time a movie reaches the 25-year mark, it serves as a reminder of my advancing age. Back then, Rajshri-produced movies were always like a family reunion. Being disciplined and paying attention to Sooraj Barjatya was always a conscious effort. I had a hunch this movie would end up being another Mother India when I heard the screenplay. The primary component of Hum Saath Saath Hain was the opportunity to watch it as a family. This is still the case with the current generation as well, and some hope that it will instill some culture in the youth, which they believe is missing at the moment. I wish HT City many more happy anniversaries and congrats for becoming 25 years old.</p>

The screenplay didn’t include the sequence when we placed our hands on each other’s palms during the ring scene. It was added during filming, and it was a fun time when we all worked together to create the greatest possible scenario.
